I generally suffer from seasonal allergies – sneezing, caughing, stuffines – but this year it’s worse than usual and I have had to use my asthma inhaler more often. Are there any natural or home remedies I can use to alleviate the congestive issues I’m suffring from?

Honey that is produced in your area is the best cure for seasonal allergies. You need to take about a tablespoon or two of RAW honey every day and it should help.
Ok if anything on that show is accurate then Watch LOST where Shannon goes into a panic and SUn gives her something from the woods and it helps her. Try that.
Eat an apple everyday. Sounds cliche’ , but it works. The pectin in apples is a natural anti-histamine. I notice a difference in about a week. I like fuji apples, because they’re dense and juicey.
What you need is an inhaled steroid like Asmanex to control the inflammation in your lungs
We share the same problem. To reduce my allergies’ symptoms I take a mild antihistamine. To ease breathing at night, a little dab of Vick’s Vaporub under the nose helps a LOT!
As an asthmatic, I am always on the look out for ways to ease the allergies and the asthma.
A little caffeine helps with the asthma, as does lessening the humidity in your house. At least, it works for me!
Each person is a little different.
A very dear friend recommends taking raw honey, made in your local area, a tablespoon or two, each day as an aid in allergies. The bees gather pollen from various flowers and plants to carry back to the hive where honey is made. The pollen in the honey helps you to build a resistence to the things that cause your allergies.
