Do natural remedies for scabies really work?

natural remedies
Billy Dee asked:

I have scabies still after 3 treatements of premethrin 5%. I read on the internet where it is really hard to get rid of scabies and that the prescription meds usually do not work. Would it be a waste of time and money to try one of the natural remedies I see advertised. Also, what can I spray on my mattress and furniture that will kill the scabies? Please help, I’m going bananas over this!

the medication should have worked if you did it properly. go back to your doctor and tell them it isn’t working.

Scabies are not hard to get rid of…but the itching is…and they are not the same thing. If you used the medication as indicated AND you don’t have a pet who might be harboring further infestation AND you took care of bedding, sofa, etc., AND everyone with whom you are intimate with was treated, THEN you have gotten rid of the infestation. Now the itching is a whole other story that can last six months even after the parasite has died. It actually is the ***** that makes you itch (I know, gross). Typical anti-inflammatory agents can be helpful – anti-histamines (oral and topical)and steroids (oral and topical).

    Good (itch) luck (scratch)

Oil of Oregano will kill scabies, you can find it at herbal companies, the north american herbal company is the best. It should be on the internet if you search for it. It needs to be directly applied.

The info came from a book called The Cure is in The Cupboard by Dr. Cass Ingram’s. You might want to get it.

Also I use a product called PureWorks, while I don’t know if it kills scabies it will kill bacteria and viruses for hours. So it will stop any rashes, infection, anything caused by bacteria if you have it on the skin. It is also incredible at improving skin, I love the stuff, use it all the time. Heres the website where you could learn about it or buy it.
