Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

Natural remedies for ******* warts lie thick on the ground but not everyone will use these or even know of these to use them. And just as with all other illnesses and medical conditions, there are natural remedies for ******* warts can be used to remove the warts. The natural remedies for ******* warts use ingredients that can be found easily in your home or in a pharmacy or health food store. And although I haven’t personally tried out every single one of these remedies (although I’ve gone through my fair share of them), they have been tried and tested out by different people at different times.

Whether or not they will work for you is largely dependant on a number of factors, key amongst is your underlying health, the particular strain of ******* HPV you have, and whether you respond favorably to the ingredients used in the natural remedies for ******* warts. It should also be noted that since different people respond in different ways to medications, your experience with a particular natural remedies for ******* warts might not be the same as someone else’s response.

Personally speaking there were a few natural remedies for ******* warts which didn’t work for me but they did work for my partner. So first you need to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients, and then you need to go through the whole trial and error process of finding the natural remedies for ******* warts that’s right for you. Let me just state that I am not a qualified medical practitioner, nor am I a naturopath, a herbalist or a licensed healer or medical practitioner of any sort. If you have any doubt as to whether these natural remedies for ******* warts will work for you, or whether you might be allergic to any of these ingredients, consult your physician immediately.

I personally wouldn’t recommend the use of more than one natural remedies for ******* warts at a time, or that you use certain natural remedies for ******* warts alongside prescription medication. Some of the herbs might react badly with the prescription drugs.

However, if you do utilize multiple natural remedies for ******* warts or you mix and match natural and prescription remedies, I would suggest that you keep a detailed journal of exactly what you’re using and in what dosages, along with the duration of treatment for each separate treatment.

This can help you to keep a track of everything that you’ve tried so far and to find out which ones work for you. And it also serves the purpose of being able to help in the event that you react in an adverse way to your treatments.

Remedy Urinary Tract Infection – Why a Natural Remedy Works Better Than Antibiotics?

Joe Barton asked:

If you analyze search engine results, you will notice that ‘ remedy urinary tract infection’ has been a very popular search in recent months. And if you have stayed current with health news, you will notice that U.T.I. antibiotics could actually be causing more harm than good.

Fact! It is reported the over 25% of U.T.I. sufferers who take antibiotics will suffer from repeat infections in the upcoming year.

In other words, antibiotics are leaving patients with a false hope and an unbalanced bacteria count.

If you are suffering from a urinary tract infection, this may be the most important information you read this year!

Why U.T.I. Antibiotics could be Harmful

The best way to attack any infection is with a strong immune system. However, doctors and researchers have convinced the general public that antibiotics are just as effective. This is a lie!

Antibiotics work (sometimes) because they kill bacteria. In fact, the word antibiotic means ‘no life’. Unfortunately, antibiotics kill most bacteria that stand in its way. And that includes ‘good’ and ‘bad’ bacteria. And if you know how your body works, your body’s balance of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ bacteria is critical to your overall health.

If your ‘good’ bacteria count drops, you are left more susceptible to another U.T.I. attack later on. And the more antibiotics you take, the more resilient the bacteria will become to antibiotics. In other words, your urinary infection could now become a life-long problem.

But there is a better choice!

Why You Should Choose a Natural Remedy

Natural remedies were once viewed as taboo. But with modern research now entering the natural health field, many doctors and millions of patients are now using natural health for treatment.

And the reason why natural remedies work is because they allow the body to fight the infection and not some synthetic antibiotic that works by killing all the bacteria that stands in its way.

And there are well over 20 different ways that you could cure your urinary infection from home. Here are some simple ways you may want to write down!

5 Ways to Cure and Prevent U.T.I.s Naturally

1. There is no substitute for a well hydrated body. With that said, you may keep your bacteria balanced and your body flushed with drinking plenty of water over a few weeks. You should be drinking at least 10 tall glasses of water daily.

2. You should also boost your immune system immediately. We recommend a vitamin C (ascorbic acid) supplement along with a zinc supplement. You should take this at least twice a day.

3. You may also wish to make a parsley tea which can be done with dried parsley leaves or fresh leaves. Parsley provides the urinary system with apiol which is a volatile oil that acts as a urinary tract antiseptic.

4. Your diet is also paramount in fighting urinary infections. You should consider a high water soluble fiber diet that incorporates many fresh fruits and vegetables. These will help flush your infection and bacteria (including E coli).

5. Finally, do NOT drink cranberry juice all day! Many natural remedies say to drink cranberry juice which is true and false. Cranberries are great because they actually have a compound which declings E coli bacteria from the urinary tract. However, cranberries will only decling the bacteria, you must also flush them and keep them from your tract in the future. How and Why Natural Remedies are so Much Better

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Jon Arnold asked:

If you have not investigated the use of natural remedies for a wide variety of typical health problems, you are missing out on what could be your best, healthiest, and most effective options. Natural remedies are healthier for you than prescription drugs, they have far fewer nasty side effects, and are almost always significantly less expensive than prescription drugs, even after your health insurance co-pays.

For example, although there are many over the counter and prescription medicines available for heartburn relief, natural remedies for heartburn may be just as effective and cause fewer side effects. With the introduction of products that can hurt our bodies just as much as they help us, the popularity of natural herbal remedies parties is growing.

If you read the side of the bottle for traditional medications, you will see a list of the possible side effects, like “will cause drowsiness and diarrhea”. Well of course this medication will cure your headache, because you will forget all about your headache when you fall asleep on the toilet!

If you have never used natural remedies, you may want to start slowly so you can begin to see the benefits. You may want to begin to incorporate the benefits of natural health into your everyday life by stocking your medicine cabinet with herbal remedies, replacing non-natural brand-name products. But like anything else, natural remedies are good for what they are designed to cure or prevent, so make sure, just like with traditional medications and drugs, that you understand the ailment that you are treating. For example, you cannot apply skin lotion to your elbow and expect it to resolve your migraine problem. Is that an extreme example? Not according to many of the calls taken by the professionals in this industry, believe it or not!

Yes, there are many cures, prescriptions, OTC (over the counter) or natural for something as common as acid reflux, but every person is different in the sense that some or all remedies might not work, or m ay lose their effectiveness after many uses. In the end, for some people, it may not be enough to avoid personal acid reflux triggers or use a natural remedy. As you use natural remedies, keep in mind that one particular remedy may not work for you. But the beauty of natural remedies is that if one does not work for you, there are a dozen others that can, in the same sense that if one prescription antibiotic does not work for you, there are many others that may.

Thousands of years ago, the people of the earth understood our bodies to a surprising level. They understood the need to keep your body in chemical balance. For example, it was important to them to use only natural remedies, and people have been using rhubarb as one of the natural remedies for heartburn and indigestion, which is still used by native Americans today. Also one of the best natural gum disease remedies known today is tea tree oil gel.

Another example is that vitamin D is one of the best natural gum disease remedies easily available. Overall, given its absence of toxic reactions and its effectiveness at promoting high-quality sleep, valerian root remains one of the best natural remedies for insomnia. Herbal remedies play an important role in the natural ways to overcome insomnia, and they are much better for you and far less chance of becoming habit-forming than their prescription counterparts.

You owe it to yourself to keep yourself as healthy as possible, and you should be encouraged to try natural remedies and herbal remedies. You will likely find that they are better and you will feel better as a result.

Introducing the Premier guide to Natural Remedies from different herbal healing systems. This comprehensive website is updated continually. It contains information on different healing system such as Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Tibetan medicine, Naturopathy, Natural Remedies, Homeopathy, Greek medicine, Amazon remedies and Unani medicine. Check out www.naturalremediesguide.net which contains information such as:

There are many different types of holistic systems that uses natural remedies, some of which are naturopathy in which a practitioner has to get a medical degree (ND) which is equivalent to a medical doctor, Chinese medicine is the herbal system of China which uses many different types of herbs including the use of teas and custom formulas, Ayurvedic Remedies from ancient India uses single herbs, pills, herbal jam etc., Tibetan medicine uses pills that address many related disorders and is primarily famous due to the comprehensiveness, Homeopathic remedies makes the use of tiny white pills which dissolves when you place it under the tongue. There are also other healing systems that uses natural remedies including Unani medicine from Persia, Greek medicine and Amazon remedies. While there are many natural remedies in the market that claim to have a guaranteed efficacy, the truth is many are remedies that are created by companies mixing a few herbs based upon the knowledge that is readily available, there are also natural remedies in the form of single herbs that usually taken over a long period of time show side-effects, the sensible thing to do is research background of the products, the herb-balancing of formulas, clinical efficacy and ofcourse quality. Do not be fooled by product review websites online, these are created by companies that benefit from a percentage of the sales of products. Before you take natural remedies do your research, there are remedies that act as vitamins merely covering it up, there are some which help only the first few days, there are some that may not work at all, some that can give side-effects worse than conventional medications and there are remedies that heal disorders quickly just like modern medicine.

How To Eliminate Acne With Natural Remedies

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

Gaetane Ross asked:

The subject of natural or homegrown acne remedies is a broad one to cover as one must be able to separate the effective options from those that really amount to little more than old wives’ tales. Yet, with this said, someone searching for successful remedies for acne would be foolish to overlook the benefits of those natural remedies that have been passed on in families.

These sorts of remedies based upon common sense practices or herbs are typically successful for most mild cases of acne. It is when these cases grow more severe that one should consult a physician or dermatologist.

A List of Common Natural Remedies

Hot/Cold Compresses – A chief natural remedy that is recommended more often than not is the usage of hot and cold wet towel compresses to reduce swelling and eliminate clogged pores–the major culprit in the production of acne.

Drinking Water – This natural remedy for acne is simple enough. The premise behind it the idea that if you drink a sufficient amount of water per day, typically 7-8 glasses of water a day, your body is cleansed of elements of toxicity that can actually contribute to the development and spread of acne. It also should be noted, that many natural remedies not only recommend to merely drink plain old ordinary water, but actually adding herbal ingredients by boiling fenugreek seeds and corn into the water.

Oils and Juices – Though it can seem odd, the benefits of using natural substances like almond oil – which can actually help with the removal of acne scars – cannot be ignored. Apricot juice helps to alleviate the presence of cysts by cutting through them.

Cucumber juice – Used as a topical application, either alone or combined with carrot juice, alfalfa or lettuce.

Citric fruit juices – These types of juices, such as lemon juice, serve as a natural exfoliate, removing dead skin cells which might cause clogging of the pores. You should allow it to dry on the face for approximately 10 minutes before rinsing it away with cool water.

Fenugreek leaves – This remedy provides great prevention of breakouts and involves taking the fenugreek leaves, crushing them, and making a paste out of them. You should then apply it to infected areas every night, then wash it away the following morning with warm water.

Honey Mask – Because honey has naturally occurring anti-bacterial qualities it is often applied to the face as a mask, killing surface bacteria. Typically, the mask should be applied once or twice weekly depending upon the results of usage.

Distilled white vinegar – Apply the vinegar as a topical solution, letting it sit on the infected area for at least 5-10 minutes. Then rinse it thoroughly with cool water. Often the vinegar can be a little too strong so it is recommended that you dilute it, though not too much.

Make-up or Cosmetic Usage – Simply put, this is a common sense remedy for acne. Just avoid using these products because more than likely the chemicals and oils used to manufacture them will clog the pores, which, in turn, leads to more breakouts.

Beyond the common natural remedies for acne, there are a few other interesting options available if you know where to look.

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and I’m sick. =( My son brings home every germ he possibly can from preschool and I caught a bad one! My doc put me on an antibiotic and an inhaler. I still feel crummy though. If anyone knows any natural remedies for cough or congestion or sore throat I would love to hear about them. (I’m really trying to avoid taking a lot of over the counter meds). Thanks!

ps. I’m putting this is the Pregnancy section vs. the Health section because I want to know what other moms have done before. Not just the average Joe.
